New Song "Wake Me Up"

"Wake Me Up" has dropped on all your favorite music sites (aka Soundcloud [Thanks to Chance the Rapper for saving it] and Bandcamp)!  This song is about night terrors, bad dreams, and confusion in the subconscious.  "Wake Me Up" was the very first that I wrote on mandolin and it holds a special place in my heart for that reason.  Initially, it was supposed to be a more folk-acoustic song, but as production continued it turned into a more indie folk fully instrumented number.  I'm proud of all the work that went into this and can't wait to keep going on more.  Look forward to more releases coming soon!

Much Love

Written, Produced, Performed, Recorded, and Mixed by Ian Steinberg Cover by Ian Steinberg Lyrics: Caught in a dream, the terrible scene is lying mystifying Buried the string, the connecting tissue in between Found myself wandering, friends with shared faces missed spaces in my memory Crying out wake me up In Terezin, caught me off guard pushed me stumbling The shadows are hovering, the simple seething of their schemes A passionate thing has me in its grip Oh let me slip, oh let me slip Crying out wake me up
