Radio Interviews and Other News

Hey!

Long time no see.  These past couple months have been quite busy!  Matthew and I played 5 shows last month, and I've been working diligently on a new song for you :D.  Here's a picture of Brian Roko, Twinly and I at our last concert at the Octopus Literary Salon:

Matthew had already left, unfortunately, and couldn't get in the photo.  Next time!

Also, I'm very excited to announce that I was interviewed on a radio show recently.  Tim Shestak over at Alameda Community Radio 96.1 KACR has a show called "Bordered by Silence," where he interviews local musicians and discusses their songwriting process.  It was a wonderful time, and I wish it could've been longer than an hour so that we could've really dug in.  Fortunately, all the time was super fruitful and engaging.  I played four songs live in the studio, and then we chewed the fat over my history, musical taste, the process, living as a musician and more!  If you missed it yesterday at 7pm, check it out below!

Episode 5: Ian Steinberg Bordered by Silence

Lastly, I'd like to give my thoughts and prayers to anyone who was effected by the tragic events yesterday in Las Vegas.  Music is something to be celebrated, that brings us all together.  Music is love, and helps us fight against this kind of hatred and stupidity.  Stay safe everyone.

Much Love,

Ian
